"I just wanted to take the time to say thank you so much for granting me the help through your program. Often times we take too much for granted and saying thank you goes a long way.
I just went on maternity leave, without pay, and fell behind on paying my bills, hence the reason I applied for assistance.
I pray that your program will continuously be blessed as you go on helping people in need like myself. Thank you so much again."

For over 31 years, Operation Fuel has helped people struggling to help themselves.
Operation Fuel is a private, not-for-profit (501)(c)(3) organization that provides emergency energy assistance to state residents who do not qualify for, or have exhausted, their government assistance. Most of our clients are not poor enough to receive government aid but, because of a crisis in their lives, cannot make ends meet and are forced to make impossible choices. Trying to survive a Connecticut winter with no heat should not be one of their choices.
Operation Fuel uses a network of over 65 community organizations which approve grants to assist in paying the utility bills of households in need. They are town social service agencies, community action agencies, non-profit organizations such as Catholic Charities, and religious organizations. These agencies voluntarily administer this energy assistance program.
For information on applying for assistance please call 211 or the fuel bank in your town.
