Getting Help

HomeGetting Help

Operation Fuel partners with local government and community based organizations at more than 100 sites throughout Connecticut to ensure that families in need have access to year-round energy assistance. In addition to helping you apply for energy assistance programs, our partnering agencies may be able to connect you with programs that provide assistance for food, clothing, health services, childcare and more.

In order to apply for any Operation Fuel grant, you must submit an application through one of our partnering agencies. Use our Fuel Bank Finder, powered by Google Maps, to find an agency near you, or click on your region’s link for a full list of Fuel Bank contact information for your area.

You can also connect with 2-1-1 to find your local fuel bank.  2-1-1 is Connecticut’s free information and referral service. By dialing 2-1-1, a toll-free number throughout Connecticut, callers can reach knowledgeable, multilingual staff and get information, referrals or seek help in a crisis. 2-1-1 operates 24 hours a day, every day of the year. TDD access is available.  Click here to get started.
