Add-a-Dollar Program is Easy Way to Help Struggling Families with Energy Bills
Operation Fuel would like to remind Connecticut residents to consider contributing one dollar or more to the non-profit through the Add-a-Dollar program when paying monthly utility bills.
“This is an easy way to help Connecticut families who need energy assistance. And 100 percent of this money goes directly to Operation Fuel,” explains Executive Director Patricia Wrice.
Last year, Operation Fuel raised $517,288 through the Add-a-Dollar program.
Through the end of January [2013], Operation Fuel has already given more than $1 million in energy grants.
