Operation Fuel held its second annual Burn Calories for Fuel 5K on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the Metropolitan Learning Center in Bloomfield. The goal of the road race was to raise awareness of the home energy affordability crisis that affects one out of every five Connecticut households.  We here at Operation Fuel would like to thank our 250 runners and walkers who came out and helped us raise approximately $16,000.00! Your generous efforts and contributions are already making differences in the lives of your fellow Connecticut residents.
